We have an opt-in insurance policy for owners who request it. We contract with Safely, a third-party property damage insurance provider, which allows us to covers up to $1 million in property damage and bodily injury and up to $10,000 in damage to contents and belongings for an insurance fee of $89.

This fee is charged to the guest on every reservation made through VRBO/HomeAway, TripAdvisor, and Booking.com. Our standard procedure is to set the security deposit on our listings to $100, so we can use it as a deductible for the claims process in case damage occurs during a guest’s stay. For ease of mind, we can also charge your personal security deposit amount instead.

We usually do not cover reservations made through Airbnb, as their trust and safety program is fairly robust and reliable. However, their claims process can take a very long time, so we are also willing to insure Airbnb stays for owners who would like us to.

If you are interested in obtaining insurance or would like more information about the policy, please contact your account manager.
